Application

Payment of fees

Machine Readable Passport (MRP) and
E Passport or Electronic Passport.
Did you know that Machine Readable Passport or MRP (Passport) is currently being forged? Moreover MRP (passport) can be done for 5 years. Which has to be renewed repeatedly, which is a problem.
Besides, due to several other problems of MRP, the government of Bangladesh introduced e-passport in the country. In terms of starting e-passport activities, Bangladesh is 119th in the world but 1st in South Asia.

Step 1:
You first go to epassport.gov. bd Enter this site. Touch the three hyphens on the left hand side of the screen. It will look like the picture below.

Step 3: This is the
most important stage of your passport application. First of all, put your active email and create a password with 8-20 characters or numbers as you wish. Put the same password in two boxes below the email.

You touch the middle and go out. Do not touch the back button again. Now go to the email and see if there is any email coming from the passport office. Or actually come to that page again and click on Resend. Activation link will come in one minute. Then open the email and click on the link. Click on Sign in at the bottom of the new page and submit the captcha as before.
A new page will appear. Click Apply for a new e passport.

Step 1:
PERSONAL INFORMATION (Provide personal information)
First click on the box next to i apply for myself and tick it. Then enter the ID number and click on Save and Continue to go to the next step.
Step 2:
PREVIOUS PASSPORT (Whether you have a previous passport or not)

PASSPORT OPTIONS (related to what kind of passport you want to take)
